Before the new 911/991 mercy Frankfurt Motor Show floor, Porsche 911 is a summing current series in 2012 racing car GT3 R, a model that was successful due to great handling and speed. The new model year is taking these features with the addition of more horsepower and accessories.
Porsche 911 GT3 R is powered by a four-liter six-cylinder flat engine, which provides a total of 500 hp, 20 hp improvement due to to optimize the intake system. Six-speed sequential gearbox was adapted to the higher maximum power and paddleshifters were mounted on the handlebars for easy and quick gear changes. Transmission electronics, featuring automatic flash control throttle, further facilitates shifting. Race-ABS braking system rolls over from the previous model year, as it makes it difficult to ex-factory traction control.
The new GT3 R is still located between the 911 GT3 Cup GT3 RSR, and will be used in the competition, starting next year. It will be on sale in November 2011 at a price of 304,500 euros, or about $ 434,000 on current exchange rates. If you just so happen to own 2010 or 2011 GT3 R, do not worry, Porsche is in the process clients to update their model 2012 specifications for 43 100 euros, or about $ 61000.
